MANILA ELECTRONICA :.

Manila Electronica is a collection of my tunes over the years spanning almost a decade. I created this collection because I felt that over my 12 year career as an Electronic music producer, music styles and trends have come and gone and what better way to represent those periods but with pieces of music that highlighted those times in our lives as well as the ones that I've been heavily into and enjoyed getting my feet wet in. It is through this release that I can show to everyone how Filipinos have been at it as well, doing electronic music the same time the rest of the world was.

I don't see it as a collection of the very "best" that I have but more of a timeline of how I was back then and the production methods and sounds I used during those particular times I was doing a particular genre.

I did not sequence the album from oldest to the most recent tune. I chose it rather to be more of a journey through different styles regardless of time because as with most musicians, we aim to make our compositions "timeless." I hope that you would find this collection of music something that you can pop into your player from time to time but finding it always "fresh" to your ears.
